Country house Munsö
This charming country house is located in historical Munsö, only 40 minutes drive from Stockholm. The surroundings are beautiful with a garden that stretches down to a path with leads to the lovely lake Mälaren. Here, you have your own private jetty with a boathouse. You can spend a day swimming, try your luck with the fishing rod, enjoy a good book or just admire the beautiful lake view. There is a lot to see and explore in the surroundings with its many historical sites and castles. A day trip to the UNESCO world heritage sites Birka and Adelsö or the royal palace Drottningholm is highly recommended. Nice restaurants and cafés are also found nearby.
Within walking distance you have two padel courts, a football pitch and for the golfers, there are two golf courses in the area.
Inside
Enter through the main entrance and pass the ground floor bathroom with a shower to make your way into the kitchen. Take the door straight ahead into the washing and drying room with a toilet and shower inside. Take the other door from the kitchen to the main living room, with sofas in the TV corner and access to the beautiful terrace, where you will surely spend many summer nights. Adjacent to the dining room on the ground floor there is a small room with an extra bed. Walk up the stairs and you’ll find three bedrooms, each holding a king size bed and one of them with an extra single bed, as well as the main bathroom with a shower. In the hallway connecting all rooms, there is a cozy TV corner.
Outside
Have a barbecue on the terrace and walk around in the beautiful surrounding garden. Apple and pear trees are scattered around and raspberry bushes grow in plenty beneath them. There are many places to sit down at and enjoy the weather or a good book. Nearby there is also a large football pitch, where you can challenge family and friends for a game. Walk past and make your way down to the water, through the blueberry bushes and wind up at the private jetty for a swim. Make your way a bit further into the forests and look for mushrooms or berries.
