Lake house Garnsviken
Located directly by the lake Garnsviken find your inner harmony in this charming and beautiful retreat. Appreciate the beauty of the Swedish countryside and the lake whilst drinking a cup of tea on the terrace. This unique place has something for everyone, especially for those who seek to recharge and explore. On a colder evening, light up the fireplace whilst preparing the dinner. Visit the nearby towns of Vaxholm and Österskär and board one of the many ferries for summer excursions in the Swedish archipelago. Or stay a day and visit the historical Vaxholm fortress and have lunch, dinner or just a coffee at one of the many charming restaurants and cafés.
This retreat also has a small guesthouse a few steps from the main house and don’t miss to use the amazing sauna just by the waterside.
Inside
The main house is made up of one large open planned living space holding the kitchen, living room, dining room with place for 8, a large nice fire place and a staircase to the loft. A bathroom with shower is found on the backside of the ground floor and from the living room you have direct access to the terrace. The cozy loft, with a beautiful view of the lake, holds a king size bed as well as the possibility to add an extra double bed.
In the guesthouse, just a few metres away, there are two separate rooms with one king size bed and a bunk bed for two, each of them equipped with a wash basin.
Outside
From the terrace you have direct access to the private jetty and sauna. Immerse in the surrounding areas of the lake, walking along the paths with historical viking graves along them. The fields on the estate hold both sheep and horses.
